III - Carving Galangal Flower from Carrot
By Narongwacha Broytubtim
1. Make a raised outline in the shape of an up-side-down raindrop.
2. Start the first petal covering about two-thirds of top, drawing a reversed S-shape, ending halfway down.
4. Complete the first flower with a long tapered petal.
3. Alternate directions of next petals, gradually reducing the sizes.
6. Or, when you have a large carrot, more flowers can be added. Have fun with it.
5. Add open petals on both sides. At this point, the flower can be carved off to stand alone.
